TOURNAMENT GUIDE

Get ready for some thrilling pickleball action at one of Louisiana's largest indoor pickleball facilities! The MiLP Pickleball Tournament takes place from Friday, May 29th - Sunday, May 31st, offering skill-based divisions and over $3,000 in cash prizes.

Here's what awaits you:

  • Dates: May 29, 2026 - May 31, 2026

  • Location: Stacks Pickleball, 9550 Dawnadele Ave, Suite B, Baton Rouge, LA 70809

  • Prizes: $3,000+ Cash Prize Pool (see details below) 

  • Traditional MiLP Format: Team-based (2 men, 2 women per team), maximum 12 teams per division. Officially sanctioned MiLP events will follow national guidelines (see link for details). Minimum of 3 matches guaranteed per team, 6 games per player.

  • 3v3 Format: Same gendered 3-player teams. Officially sanctioned MiLP events will follow national guidelines (see link for details). Minimum of 3 matches guaranteed per team, 6 games per player.

  • Restrictions:​

    • ​Players can only play in one division per day. Due to the volume of the tournament and to ensure a smooth transition between divisions, players will be capped at one division entry per day.​

    • ​Aggregate player DUPRs must not exceed the level limit. Max 12 teams per division with a waitlist.

  • MiLP Registration Fees:

    • Early Bird: $85/Player (Tuesday, January 27, 2026 - Monday, February 2, 2026)

      • Includes a complimentary limited-edition tournament shirt! Restricted to one per player.

    • Standard Registration: $105/Player (Tuesday, February 3, 2026 - Thursday, April 30, 2026)

    • Late Registration: $130/Player (Friday, May 1, 2026 - Friday, May 15, 2026)​

  • 3v3 (NON-CASH PRIZE) Registration Fees:

    • Early: $40/Player​

    • Regular: $55/Player

    • Late: $75/Player

  • Refund Policy: Cancellation deadline is 15 days prior to the event start date (minus a $5 technology fee and 3% processing fee). After this date, no refunds will be issued. (Example: Event starts October 31st, cancellation must be received by 11:59 pm local time on October 16th).

TOURNAMENT OPERATIONS

  • Minimum Teams: A minimum of four teams per division is required for play and prize eligibility. Divisions not meeting this requirement will be cancelled with refunds issued.

  • Maximum Teams: A 12-team limit per division will be enforced during regular registration. Pending schedule availability, some divisions may extend to a 16-team maximum. This will be determined at the discretion of the tournament director.

  • Odd Team Format: In the event that a division reaches their minimum team requirement but has an odd number of teams forcing an extended tournament timeline, it will be to the discretion of the director if the last registered team will be cut from the division and refunded.

  • Tournament Ball: Vulcan VPRO Flight

  • Food Vendors: Outside food is allowed. Snacks and drinks are available for purchase in the Pro Shop. A water fountain is available for refills.

Louisiana Pickleball Tournament | Cash Prize Breakdown

*CASH PRIZE INCREASE: After the four team minimum has been met for a division, the cash prize will increase for that division. The increase will be based on the DUPR division. Example: DUPR 12 expands to 5 teams. With one team over the minimum four team requirement, the cash prize would increase by $30. The new prize total would be $530. Another Example: DUPR 20 has 8 additional team over the minimum four team division requirement. The total increase would be ($70 x 8 = $560 + $740) $1,300. Note: Each division has a maximum of 12 teams.

​PAYOUT: Cash team prize is paid out to each individual player in an even split payment.

​DISCAIMER: In the event that a division does not meet the four team requirement minimum, the division will be cancelled and players in that division will be refunded their original registration cost.
